Jr. 1 M NC NC NC Son The Wilmington Dispatch, North Carolina, January 20, 1917 Mrs. Bass Dead Mother of Wilmington Lady Passed Away In Wilson News of the death of Mrs. I.W. Bass, which occurred at 5 o?clock this morning at her home in Wilson, N. C., will be learned with regret by the numerous friends of the deceased. Mrs. Bass was the mother of Mrs. W. C. Galloway, of this city. The latter had been at her bedside for several days. Mrs. Bass, who was in her 74th year of her age, was a woman of the highest Christian character and was beloved by all who knew her because of her sweet disposition. Dr. Galloway and nephew, Master Cofield King, will leave this afternoon for Wilson. The funeral services will be conducted in Rocky Mount tomorrow afternoon and interment will be in the cemetery in that city.
