  Notes	The Virginian-Pilot, Norfolk, Virginia, Thursday, 14 January 1965 George Bass CHESAPEAKE - George Bass, 84, of Route 4, died Wednesday at 1:20 a.m. in a Portsmouth hospital. A native of Norfolk County, he was a son of Augustus A. and Mrs. Mary Goldsborough Bass and the husband of the late Mrs. Amelia Harrison Bass. He was a retired farmer and a member of Indiana Methodist Church. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Albert Hubbard, and a brother Olive Bass, both of Glen Burnie, Md. The body was taken to Snellings Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in Indiana Methodist Church by the Rev. F.J. Dalton. Burial will be in the Bass family cemetery at Yadkins, Chesapeake.
