  Notes	Find-a-Grave Obituary Rites Held for Larkie Bass, Friday Funeral services for Larkie M. Bass, 61, of Orange were held at 11 a.m. Friday in Concord Church near Zavalla. The Rev. Jac, Le of Jasper, officiating. Burial was in Concord Cemetery directed by Edwards Funeral Home of Woodville. Bass died early Wednesday in Orange Memorial Hospital. He was employed by the City of Orange. He was a native of Nacogdoches. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Essie Ann Bass; four daughters, Miss Nancy Bass and Miss Candy Bass, both of Orange, and Mrs. Inez Ripper and Mrs. Dorothy Birietzke, both of Houston, there sons, Howard Bas of Washington State and L.M. Bass Jr. and Gene Bass, both of New Orleans; a sister, Mrs. C.M. McGee of lake Charles; three brothers, Charles and Preston Bass, both of DeRidder, and Ed Bass of Orange, 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
