Ehlinger-Bass
Mrs. Charles Cassedy Bass Jr. has announced the engagement of her daughter, Miss Patricia Elizabeth Bass, to Mr. Jeffery Mark Ehlinger, son of the late Mr. Marquez Pillot Ehlinger and the late Mrs. Ehlinger, nee Miss Juanita Perrin. The bride-elect?s father is the late Mr. Bass. The marriage will be quietly solemnized Nov. 18 at 7 o?clock I nthe evening at the Bass family home on Calhoun St. A small reception will immediately follow.
Miss Bass, whose mother is the former Miss ELizbeth Conner of Pittsburgh, Pa., was graduated from the Louise S. McGehee School. She attended Southern Methodist University and was graduated fro mNewcomb College. The prospective bvride?s grandparents are Dr. and Mrs. Bass Sr. and Mrs. Horace C. Conner of Pittsburgh and the later Mr. Conner.
As a member of the 1968-69 debutante coterie, Miss Bass was presented at Le Debut des Jeunes Filles de la Nouvelle Orleans, the Mid-Winter Cotillion, and the Harlequins ball. As a sub-deb, she reigned as queen at the Quins ball and was chosen a court maid in the balls of Les Pierrettes and Harlequins.
Mr. Ehlinger attended the University of Southwestern Louisiana at Lafayette and was graduated from Louisiana State University in New Orleans. He is a grandson of the late Mr. Emilien Perrin, the late Mrs. Perrin, nee Miss Viola Grosch, the late Mr. Jacques Pillot and the later Mrs. Rancie B. Ehlinger.
