Trumbo
Cassie Juanita Bass Trumbo of Payetteville, AR, died Saturday, January 11, 1997 at Washington Regional Medical Center. She was born March 16, 1902 at Columbia, Mississippi, the daughter of Dr. Charles Cassedy and Coraline Howell Bass. She was a homemaker and a member of the National Society of Colonial Dames of America, in the State of Arkansas, the Pi Beta Phi Sorority and St. Paul?s Episcopal CHruch. She was the widow of Donald Trumbo Sr. and was preceded in death by a son Donald Trumbo, Jr. and a brother Charles Cassedy Bass, Jr. Survived by sons and daughters-in-law Bass and Ruth Ann Trumbo, Howell Trubmo, Ellis and Nacy Barnhill Trumbo, all of Fayetteville, AR., daughter-in-law Jan Blessing Trumbo of Fayetteville, AR, two sisters, Rachael Ernestine Bass Hopkins and Helen Corinne Bass both of New Orleans, Louisiana, one sister-in-law, Betty Bass of New Orleans, LA, 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 13, 1997 at St. Paul?s Episcopal Church. Burial will be in Fairview Memorial Gardens under the direction of Moore?s Chapel. Visitation 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at Moore?s Chapel, the Reverends Russell E. Jurphy, Jr and C. Douglas Simmons, officiating. Memorials: St. Paul?s Episcopal Church, P.O.
