Raymond Bessette, 79
WINTER HAVEN -- Mr. Raymond Bessette of Winter Haven died of heart failure Friday (May 20, 2005) at Winter Haven Hospital. He was 79.
Born April 2, 1926, in Fall River, Mass., he was a resident of Winter Haven for 29 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving in World War II. He was a general foreman for Kaiser Aluminum in Bristol and Portsmouth, R.I. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, the American Legion, Moose Lodge and Elks Club, all of Winter Haven.
Mr. Bessette is survived by his wife, Margare Hilger; son, Raymond F. Bessette, Plainville, Mass.; sister, Lillian Martin, Marion, S.C.; brother, Henry Bessette, Chuluota; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
