"Mrs. Andrew Bass died at her home, near town, last Monday of pneumonia after a brief illness, aged 49 years. Her husband preceded her to the grave about eight or nine months ago. The deceased was a well-known and highly esteemed lady and leaves a large circle of relatives and friends to lament her her death. The remains were laid to rest Tuesday afternoon at the family burying ground.
