Thomas Eugene Bass
Thomas Eugene Bass passed away Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2011 at McKay Dee Medical Center. He was born in North Carolina.
He met and married Charlotte Shockley in May 1967, together they had six children.
Thomas was a driver for Greyhound Bus Lines for 48 years. He retired 20 years ago.
He was a loving husband and father and will be missed by all who knew him.
Thomas is survived by his wife Charlotte, John Bass of Salt Lake, Christine (Jimmy) Moffet of Casper, Wyo.., and Theresa Bass who has lived with us all her life. He is also survived by a sister Peggy, and sister-in-law Mildred Bass, both of North Carolina; brothers Edward; Marvin; Ray of Salt Lake; five grandchildren Ryan, Tyler, Jaden, Zachery and Emma.
He was preceded in death by son Eugene Bass, daughters; Michelle, and Louise.
I will love him forever, and we were blessed to be together for 43 years.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 24 from 6-8 p.m. at Larkin Mortuary, 496 24th St. Ogden, Utah.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, Aug. 25, 2011 at 12 p.m. in the Maeser Fairview County Cemetery, Vernal, Utah.
Arrangements are under the direction of Larkin Mortuary.
