Beatrice B Goldstein
MANCHESTER -- Beatrice B. Goldstein died Sept. 29, 2009, in a local hospital.
She was born Nov. 23, 1922, in Chelsea, Mass., to Abraham and Fannie (Marnoy) Bass. She grew up and attended schools in Chelsea, Mass.
In 1956, she married Meyer S. Goldstein and together they moved to Manchester. She was a homemaker and a member of Temple Adath Yeshurun, the Temple Sisterhood, Hadassah and Youth Aliyah. She loved the beaches of Maine and had spent many summers there.
Her son, Steven B. Goldstein, died Nov. 6, 1980.
IN HER LIFE: Members of her family include her husband of 53 years, Meyer S. Goldstein of Manchester; a daughter, Audrey S. Goldstein and her husband, Douglas Sanderson, of McLean, Va.; two grandchildren, "The Lights of Her Life", Scott M.G. Sanderson and Phoebe H.G. Sanderson.
SERVICES: The funeral service will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Temple Adath Yeshurun, 152 Prospect St., Manchester. Rabbi Beth Davidson will officiate.
A graveside service and burial will follow at Manchester Hebrew Cemetery, South Beech Street, Manchester. Shivah will be observed Sunday at the family's home from 3 to 6:30 p.m. with minyan at 6:30 p.m.
