Funeral Home with Rev. Lucian Conway officiating. Burial was in Greenwood Memorial Park. Bass died Monday at 1:30 p.m. in the Veterans Administration Hospital. He is survived by a son, Holton Bass Jr., and a daughter, Miss Beverly Faye Bass of Greenville, Texas; a sister, Miss Juanita Bass of Lake Charles; his mother, Mrs. Minnie Bass of Alexandria. Pallbearers were A. R. Phillips, Leroy Gypin, Johnny McCann, Gary Smith and Silton Bordelon, Walter Spruell. Bass was a veteran of World War II and was a member of Plumbers and Steamfitters Local Union No. 247.
