Drew Basse
Drew Basse was born in Goldendale, Washington on September 13th, 1956 to Stewart and Caroline (Reuter) Basse.
He was a beloved father, grandfather, husband, brother and friend to all. He worked as a long haul truck driver for 25 years. He loved the roads and made friends everywhere he went.
He was a faithful Christian man who loved the Lord. He was known for his contagious laugh, mischievous nature, and friendly personality.
In 2014, he suffered a cardiac arrest and was given a second chance at life.
He spent his remaining 8 years traveling, taking trips with family and friends, playing poker tournaments, enjoying the outdoors and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He is remembered with love by his 3 children; Heather Smith (Luke), Shane Basse (Maya), and Staci Valenzuela (Ludwing), 7 grandchildren; Savanna, Madelyn, Giovanni, Lily, Anthony, Brodie, and Amaia, former wife; Tara Basse, 4 siblings; Dawn Weaver, Jill Colver (Craig), Scott Basse (Sandy), and Dean Basse (Sherrill), girlfriend; Jodi, his lap dog; Gremlin, and a never ending list of friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother in law, Fred Weaver.
With his family by his side, he took the highway to heaven, February 25, 2022.
