  Notes	Springfield Union October 29, 1951 Somers, Connecticut Mrs. Nellie Bassett Somers, Connecticut, October 28 - Mrs. Nellie Elizabeth (Chapin) Bassett, widow of Frank Bassett of Main St., died this morning in Windham Private Hospital, Windham, Cen. Conn. She was born in Somers, Aug. 26, 1870, daughter of Adolphus G. and Harriet (Pease) Chapin, and had lived here all her life. She leaves two daughters Mrs. Frank Wilder of Monson, and Miss Frances Bassett at home; one son, Adolphus C. Bassett, of Ellington; seven grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Hattie Doyle of Somers. The funeral will be Tuesday at 2.30 at the Leete funeral home Thompsonville. Reverend Allison Ray Heaps, pastor of Somers Congregational Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the West Cemetery.
