Mr. Bass was a resident of the community for 31 years. He was a faithful Southern Baptist Sunday school teacher and deacon. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Doris Bass and a daughter, Susan Orr. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Linda Bass of Ocean Springs, MS., two daughters, Brenda Gaye (Alton) Delancey of Moss Point, MS., and Cynthia Lynn (Laurence) Mullinax of Biloxi, MS., three brothers, Dr. Charles (Martha) Bass of Evergreen, CO., Dr. Joel (Helena) Bass of Huntsville, TX., and David (Julie) Bass of The Woodlands, TX., six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Saturday, March 25, 2006, from 9-10 AM, with a 10 AM chapel service, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home.
