On June 22, 2011 at 1:30 A.M. Mrs. Mae Ossie Pinnix Bass went home to be with the Lord.
Mrs. Bass was born on June 24, 1922 in Guilford County to Mamie and Palmer Pinnix.
She is survived by her four children: Franklin Irving Bass (Jane W. Bass), Carleton Bernard Bass, Marie Olivia Bass, Mae Denise Bass Booth, six grandchildren; James Allen Booth II, Franchone Bass, Jamie T. Booth, Eric Nicholas Bass, Jonathan Daviyd Booth, Jeremy Christain Booth, great grandchild; Amari Daviyd Booth, sister-in-law; Janet Bass Neal, brother-in-law; William McDuffy Bass and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, June 25, 2011 at First Baptist Church on Hubbard St. Reidsville, NC. There will be a visitation 1:30-2:00 P.M. prior to the service. Interment will follow in Greenview Cemetery, Reidsville, NC.
The family will receive friends after interment at Saint Paul United Methodist Church, Reidsville, NC.
She will be dearly missed.
