Williams-Bass
Miss Linda Diane Williams was married to Carl Owen Bass on Sunday, Aug. 1, n Tabernacle Baptist Church by the Rev. J. Elmer Cates. A church reception followed.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C.F. Williams of 3005 Locksley Lane. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. O.M. Bass of Route 12.
The bride is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. The bridegroom is employed by the Prudential Insurance Co. of America. The couple will live at 1105-B Olive St.
The bride had Miss Janice Lanning of Route 2, McLeansville, for maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Susan Bass, sister of the bridegroom, Miss Imogene McCanless, Miss Jeanne Davis and Miss Susan Brewer. Phyllis Brande of Kernersville was flower girl and Mark Warren was ring bearer.
The bridegroom had his father for best man. Freddy and Ricky Williams, the bride?s brothers, ushers with Charlie Allen of Asheboro and Mike Shepherd.
