Born Dec. 25, 1946, at Ashdown, Ark., he was a construction laborer and lived here since 1953. He was a member of the Emanual Baptist Church, Great Bend. Survivors are the parents; Mr. and Mrs. Horace Bass, Sr.; brothers; Joseph A. Kalamazoo, Mich.; Roger Dale and David Earl, of the home; sisters; Mrs. Mark Spangenberg, Newton; Robin Lynn, of the home. Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Harrison Street Baptist Church, Great Bend; Rev. Barney Hampton. Burial will be in Great Bend Cemetery, Friends may call until service time at Bryant and Fryberger Mortuary, Great Bend.
