Lorna B. Hetherington age 91 passed away on Tuesday December 29 2015 in Phoenix Arizona where she had lived for the past 11 years. Lorna was born in Wichita Falls Texas to Charles and Arline Bass. Lorna began her career with the American Red Cross in Corpus Christi Texas and retired in San Antonio after 25 years of service. She worked on the ARC National Disaster Reserve Team for six years after she retired. Lorna was a member of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution and the Daughters of the Republic of Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband Lt. Col. Donald W. Hetherington. Lorna is survived by her son John C. Barham and wife Nancy of Corpus Christi TX; daughter Suzanne Barham Miller and granddaughter Annalea Miller of Phoenix Arizona.
