He is survived by his parents, Herman and Lillian Newton Bass of Murfreesboro; wife, Janice Alsup Bass of Murfreesboro; two sons, Bart and Brad Bass, both of Murfreesboro; daughter, Beth Bass of Murfreesboro; grandmother, Mrs. Annie Lou Newton of Pulaski and a sister, Mrs. Geraldine Francis of Memphis. A member of First Baptist Church and native of Pulaski, he lived here 24 years. He had attended MTSU and was associated with Bass & Associates, General Contractors.
