He especially loved his family and his church family. Roy is survived by his wife, Betty Bass of Rowlett; son, Roy Bass and wife, Lori; daugther, Ruth Pruett and Paul; brother, Jack Bass and wife, Joyce, of Burleson, Texas; sister, Doris Stover and husband of Mansfield, Texas; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends. Memorial Service: 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 5, 2013, at First Christian Church, Rowlett, Texas.
