WILLIAM TOL BASS, Jr. Bill On Sunday, June 14, 2009, Bill slipped into the arms of his loving Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He leaves to cherish his memory, Barbara, his loving wife of 52 years, and two devoted sons, Mark Anthony of West Palm Beach, FL, and Michael Allen of Okeechobee, FL; grandchildren, great grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his oldest son, William Clark; three sisters, and five brothers. He proudly served his country during the Korean War. He was a longtime member of IBEW Local 323 Electricians Union; later, going into business for himself doing lawn and tree work as Bass Lawn Service, which he passed down to his sons. In his retirement years he owned and operated the Boulevard Motel. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Bill's name to Hospice of Palm Beach County who blessed us with God's help to restore a quality of living back into his life, allowing him to be at home with his family during his battle with cancer. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends and will live forever in our hearts. Friends may visit on Wednesday, June 17, 2009 from 1:00 - 2:00 PM, with a funeral service at 2:00 PM held at Dorsey-E. Earl Smith Memory Gardens Funeral Home.
