Nema E. (Bass) Stacy
Nema married "Sam" in Peach Orchard, Arkansas on 14 February 1946. In 1951, they lived in Long Beach, California where Sam worked as a gas station attendant.
?Nema Stacy, 86, died Friday, Dec. 18, 2009, at St. Bernards Medical Center.
She was born Oct. 4, 1923, at Peach Orchard. She was of the Methodist faith.
She was retired from Wal-Mart and a member of the Eastern Star and Clay County Extension Club. She was a devoted mother and loyal wife, loved her home, missed by family and friends, admired the bloom of a flower, had compassion for the welfare of her dogs and embraced those around her with love.
Survivors are her son, Trent Stacy of Memphis; two nephews; and two nieces.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cloyce "Sam" Stacy, on Nov. 4, 2003; two brothers, Glen and Tom Bass; and two sisters, Zola Stacy and Lucille Bass.
Burial was in Brownie Cemetery.
