  Notes	Find-a-grave obituary B.W. Bass Of West Side Answers Call B.W. Bass, well-known resident of the McKittrick district, and for many years an employe of the Standard Oil Company of California, died Thanksgiving day at a Bakersfield hospital. He was 60 years of age, a native of Texas, and had resided in the McKittrick district for the past quarter of a centjry, and held membership in the McKittrick ldoge, Knights of Pythias, as well as the Overton, Texas, lodge, Woodmen of the World. Survivors include a widow, Mrs. Carrie Bass of McKittrick; a son, Jack Bass, of Long Beach; and four daughters, Mrs. James McDonald of Redondo Beach, Mrs. L.T. Arnold, Blanche Bass and Pauline Bass all of McKittrick. He also is survived by five grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. at the payne & Son chapel. The Rev. Frank O. Beldon, pastor of the First Baptist church, will officiate. Interment will be in the family plot at Union cemetery.
