Mike was born January 30, 1932 in Griffin, GA to Johnny and Hazel Bass. Mr. Bass proudly served in the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed golfing and spending time with his community and church family. He is survived by his daughter: Gloria Vogler of Lakeland, FL; his son: Michael Scott Bass (Lori) of Lawrenceville, GA; grandchildren: Ashley Warnock (Neil) of Lakeland, FL and Becky Bass of Lawrenceville, GA; great-grandchildren: Ryland Warnock and Emery Warnock, both of Lakeland, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents: Johnny and Hazel Bass and siblings: Kenneth Bass and Emily Adams. A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 30, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Florida National Cemetery with Pastor Tim Tatum officiating and military honors provided by U.S. Navy Honor Guard.
