Mr. Bass was born on October 29, 1936 in Jackson Ga, to the late Buffus and Dolis Folds Bass. He worked as an electrician for many years. Mr. Bass was a member of Elkins Creek Baptist Church. He served his country in the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his brother Mr. Norman Bass, sister Mrs. Freida Lifsey. Survivors include his daughters Mrs. Darlene Smith of Thomaston Ga, Mrs. Lisa (Mark) Teal of Thomaston Ga, brother Mr. Gerald (Shirley) Bass of Meansville Ga, Mr. Waymon (Margaret) Bass of Concord Ga, sister Mrs. Shirley Jackson of Ak. 5 Grandchildren. 12 Great Grandchildren. Many nieces and nephews also survive. Graveside Memorial Services will be held on Sunday April 28, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in Oak Hill Cemetery.
