Services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 7, at Bellmead Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Helen Brock and the Reverend Cynthia Lee officiating. Burial will be at Waco Memorial Park. Mr. Bass was born June 17, 1933, in Whitesboro, Texas, to Hugh Bradley and Sarah (Mauldin) Bass. He was a service technician for Airfre Filter Service for 18 years until retiring in 1986. He was a long time square dance caller and member of Elm Mott and Lacy Lakeview United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Bass of Lacy Lakeview; daughters, Sally French and husband, Lanny of Osage, and Tammy Bass of Houston; sons, Brad Bass and wife, Sally of Plainview, and Tommy Bass and wife, Becky of Waco; grandchildren, Lauryn Wiley, Jake French, Lindsay Bass, Levi Bass, Calvin, Meredith and Will Bass; and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Elm Mott or Lacy Lakeview Methodist Church.
