CONOVER- Eva Sain Bass, 89 of Conover, passed away unexpectedly, Monday, May 29, 2023 at her residence.
Born in Catawba County on August 12, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Luther and Lula Beard Sain.
She was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Conover.
She is survived by her son Rick Bass and wife Pat of Concord; her daughter Angelia Bass McKinney and husband Jimmie Sr. of Claremont; granddaughter Lisa Knight and husband Daniel of Morganton; grandsons Andy Bass and wife Kim of Hickory, Justin Bass of Huntersville, Jimmie McKinney Jr. and wife Heather of Catawba, Michael McKinney and wife Lisa of Asheboro and 13 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her Husband Jeptha James Bass Jr.; her grandson Jeffery Allen Bass, one brother and five sisters.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 7, 2023 from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. at St. Luke's Lutheran Church.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at 2 p.m. St. Luke's Lutheran Church with Reverend Russel Makant officiating. Burial will follow at Catawba Memorial Park.
