Born on October 11, 1936 in Columbus County, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Hubert T. and Elnita Powell Fowler. Mrs. Taylor is survived by one son, Gary Wayne Bass of Wilson, N.C.; two daughters, Nancy G. Duncan and Tracey Strickland, both of North Myrtle Beach; one brother, Jerry Fowler, and one sister, Judy Ann Cartrette, both of Whiteville, N.C.; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. No services are scheduled at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach, P.O. Box 3369, North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582.
