Wanda Faye Bass
Wanda Faye Bass of Rogers passed away Feb. 23, 2024, at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville. She was born March 21, 1937, in Fort Smith, the daughter of Elzia Lee Fisher and Effie Rust Fisher.
Wanda was a realtor for over 30 years, with many years at Lindsey Reality. She was a Fort Smith High School class of 1955 graduate. Wanda attended Northwest Arkansas Community College when it was "The School Without Walls." Wanda was a member of Central United Methodist Church in Rogers. She enjoyed traveling around the world, and she did with great enthusiasm. Wanda was an amazing one-of-kind mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J.E. Bass; a grandson, Christopher Brandon Carter; a sister, Doris Bryant; and three brothers, Howard, Billy and Charlie Fisher.
Wanda was a loving, caring mom and friend to her children, Micaela Allison-Shropshire and son-in-law Mike, Lori Morgan, and William Allison and daughter-in-law Dena; a dear sister, Margaret Mathis; six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service in Fort Smith will be arranged. All family and friends will be updated. Arrangements by Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. Fourth St., Rogers.
