Darla Gomez
Darla Marlene Gomez of Baytown, Texas, passed away on September 1, 2019. She was born in Las Cruces, New Mexico, on December 20, 1964, to Reverend Johnny and Marlene Willhoite.
She was married to her faithful husband Reverend Amondo Gomez for 36 Years. Darla was a good wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved to laugh, and she loved life. Her family and her husband meant the world to her.
Darla is survived by her husband Reverend Amondo Gomez, son AJ Gomez and with Sarah, her grandchildren Natalie Christian Gomez, Amondo Joshua Gomez and Isabell Marie Rivas. She is also survived by her brother Reverend Mark Willhoite, and her sister Cheri Holt, as well as a multitude of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Proverbs 31:10-12 Says, who could find a virtuous wife? For her worth is far above rubies. The heart of her husband safely trust her, so he will have no lack of game, she does him good and not evil all the days of her life.
The visitation & funeral service for Darla will be on September 4, 2019, at The Refuge Church, 3105 Rollingbrook Dr., Baytown, Texas 77521. The visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m.
