Resting at Fred N. Garrett's, 548 Somerset St., W. Service Monday at 10:30 a.m. Interment Pinecrest. Burial Notes - Mrs. E. Bassett is interred Many friends and relatives gathered in the Fred N. Garret funeral home Monday to pay last tribute to Mrs. Edith Bassett of Bowesville Rd. who died at her home Thursday after a long illness. She leaves two sons, Percy and Leonard, Bowesville Rd; six daughters, Mrs. D. Campsall, Mrs. G. McDougall, Mrs. Thomas Fleming, all of Bowesville R., and Mrs. E. Villneeuve, Ottawa, Mrs. Orville Carsteson, Heron Rd., and Violet, at home; one sister, Mrs. Thomas Underwood, Hamilton and 11 grandchildren. Rev. Robert Shannon conducted the service and interment was in Pinecrest Cemetery.
