She was the beloved wife of the late Dr. Wallace J. Haddon and daughter of the late A.W.E. Bassette Jr. and Phoebe Estelle Perry. Surviving are a son, James Haddon, and wife, Dr. Sezelle; a daughter, Phoebe McClellan, and husband, Frank M.; three grandchildren, Cara Leigh, Madeleine and James Douglas; a sister, Rachel B. Noel; a brother, Charles E. Bassette; two sisters-in-law, Georgia V. Maith and Julie Bassette; as well as a host of cousins and friends who knew her to be kind, always helpful, a gentle woman, with a heart of gold. The family respectfully requests that contributions be made to the Wallace J. and Ida B. Haddon Scholarship Fund for Passaic High School Students established in their memory.
