Judith Ellica (Bass) Rogers
Judith Ellica Rogers, age 71 of Carrollton, passed away Sunday, October 16, 2016. She was born November 19, 1944 in Andalusia, Alabama to the late Horace Presley Bass and Avie Brooks Bass. She graduated from Jordan Vocational School in Columbus, Georgia and worked as a caretaker for Heaven Sent Helps, Mariner Health and Guardian Angel. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Ronald Rogers, Sr; daughter, Rhonda Marie Rogers, and brother, Tommy Arthur Bass. She is survived by her three sons, Michael David ?Mike? Rogers (LuAnn) of Vine Grove, KY, Richard Ronald Rogers, Jr of Carrollton, and Joseph Daniel Rogers of Carrollton; sister, Charlotte Ann Sarver (James ?Al?) of Trion, GA; brothers, Danny Bass (Sherry) of Villa Rica, Ronnie Bass (Denise) of Hampton, GA, William Bass (Roseanna) Braselton, GA, and Horace D. Bass (Mae) of North Carolina; two grandsons, William Michael Rogers and Justin Ronald Rogers; and three great grandchildren, Ayden Michael Rogers, Paisley Brianne Rogers, and Kori Mae Rogers. Funeral service will conducted Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 11:00 AM from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel. Interment will follow in West Georgia Memorial Park.
