  Notes	Find-a-Grave Obituary Fatal Accident at Erie Last Sunday Mr. Henry Bass, section foreman on the Girard branch of the Southern Kansas, attempted to board a moving train at Erie, and missing his hold fell between the platform and the train and was literally doubled up, cuasing instant death. His back and neck were broken. Mr. Bass was an honest and industrious citizen of Erie and his death is the cause of much sorrow among his friends. His remains were interred at the Earlton cemetery on Monday. He leaves a wife and three children to mourn his sudden and untimely death.
