Angela ?Angie? Bass Gore
Angela "Angie" Bass Gore, 53, of the Beaverdam community, died Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2020 at Columbus Regional Healthcare in Whiteville. Born Feb. 11, 1967, in Cumberland County, she was the daughter of Bobby Gene Bass and Annette Trogdon Bass of Fayetteville.
She was a Columbus County school teacher for 30 years. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who loved her family dearly. Always smiling and kind, she never met a stranger.
Her funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug 8, at Beaverdam Original Freewill Baptist Church. Visitation will be held from 12:30-2 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in the McPherson Cemetery. Inman Ward Funeral Home and Crematory of Tabor City is serving the family.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband of 31 years, Joseph "Joe" Alton Gore of Chadbourn; two sons, Joseph Gore and wife, Katie, and Bobby Gore, both of Chadbourn; one sister, Dawn Collins of Hope Mills; one grandson, Jacob Gore; and several nieces and nephews.
