  Notes	Gazetteer of Orange County, Vermont 1762 - 1888 Samuel Bass Samuel Bass, son of Samuel and Margaret (Park) Bass, was born in this town in 1833, and spent his early life upon a farm. He taught school several years, and in 1855 married Susie S., daughter of Zimri and Ruth P. (Hunt) Heath, and they have one son, Albert Edward, born in 1861. Mr. Bass is proprietor of a jewelry, book and stationery store on Main street, West Randolph. Mrs. Susan S. Bass is grand matron and grand lecturer of the Order of the Eastern Star for the state of Vermont, which honorable position she has held several years.
