  Notes	The Virginian-Pilot, Norfolk, Virginia, Monday, June 14, 1993 Graham P. Bass Graham Pierce Bass, 76, of Route 3, a retired farmer, died Saturday, June 12, in his home. Mr. Bass was born in Chowan County. He was a member of Rocky Hock Baptist Church and was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Mary Belle Byrum Bass; two sons, Carroll Bass of Edenton and Bobby Bass of Ayden, N.C.; three sisters, Edith White of Edenton, Dorothy Chappell of Belvidere and Ruth Owens of Hobbsville; two brothers, Marcus Bass and Percy Bass, both of Edenton; and 11 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Gray Bass. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 3 p.m. in Rocky Hock Baptist Church by the Rev. Sandy Gregory. Burial will follow in the family cemetery. Friends may join the family at the residence. Miller Funeral Home, Gatesville, is handling arrangements.
