  Notes	The Virginian-Pilot, Norfolk, Virginia, Wednesday, May 20, 1992 Lloyd W. Bass Lloyd William Bass, 79, of Route 3, a retired carpenter and farmer, died May 19, 1992, in a hospital. Mr. Bass was born in Chowan County. He was a member of Rocky Hock Baptist Church and was the widower of Willie Mae Corbitt Bass. Survivors include two daughters, Shirley A. Pizzitola of Roper and Cathy B. Forehand of Edenton; two sons, Norman L. Bass and Eugene Bass; four sisters, Lizzie Pierce, Lessie Layton, Cora Evans and Lena Bunch; and a brother, Lindsey Bass, all of Edenton; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Rocky Hock Baptist Church by the Rev. Donald Wagner. Burial will be in Beaver Hill Cemetery. Miller Funeral Home, Gatesville, is handling arrangements.
