      Augustus Bass

      Edenton ? Augustus Bass, 85, died at his home here at 6 o?clock Monday morning after several days of illness. He is survived by his wife; 11 children and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
      Funeral services will be held at the home Tuesday afternoon at 4 o?clock, with his pastor, the Rev. W.C. Francis, pastor of the Rocky Hock Baptist Church, officiating.
