Services for Mary Louise Bass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 24, 2025 in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers, Pineville with Mr. Mike Eaton officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
The family requests visitation be held Friday, May 23, 2025 at Hixson Brothers, Pineville from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
Mrs. Bass, 88, of Pineville, passed from this life, Monday, May 19, 2025, at Oak Haven Nursing Home.
She was a member of Pineville Church of Christ. She loved and raised horses. She was a Nursing Home administrator, co/owner of Oak Haven Nursing Home and co/owner of College Drug Store.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years Lon Bass, Sr.; son, Riley ?Rusty? Bass; parents, Ben and Beatrice Kelley Baker; brothers, Clifford Baker and Ben Baker, Jr.; sisters, Joyce Clements, Doris Leland, Elaine Zaorski, Nellie Saucier and Sue Baker.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Lon Bass, Jr. and wife, Nancy; daughter, Sally B. Baquet and husband, Paul Baquet, Jr.; daughter-in-law, Kaeryn ?Tootsie? Bass; grandchildren, Paul Baquet, III, Lon Roy Baquet, Catilyn Bass Tam, Jerry and Meghan; great grandchildren, Silas Jonah Tam, Willow Marie Tam, Riley Jo Tam, Nannette and Lily; a host of other family members and friends.
Pallbearers will be Lon Bass, Jr., Paul Baker, Terry Baker, Jerry Broadhead, III., Josh Snock and Terry Gaspard. Honorary pallbearers will be Paul Baquet, Jr.
