Howard Hudson Bass
Howard Hudson Bass, 66, of Houston, died Wednesday, July 30, 2003 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born February 1, 1937 at El Dorado, Arkansas, the son of William Howard and Elosie Kinard Bass. He was an insurance adjuster for 35 years and served in the U. S. Army. He was a graduate of the University of Arkansas with a Bachelors Degree in Education. He was currently employed by M.D. Anderson as a computer technician. He was a member of Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church in Houston. He was a former resident and graduate of Ft. Smith High School. He is survived by: His Wife: Sherryl Bass; Two Daughters: April Bass of Houston, Texas and Laura Rice of San Marcos, Texas; His Father: William Howard Bass of Fayetteville, Arkansas; Two Step-sons: David and Daniel Toups of Houston, Texas; A Step-daughter: Karen White of Cypress, Texas; Two Grandsons: Tim Bass of St. Louis, Missouri and Nathaniel Rice of Austin, Texas; A Brother: James Bass of Arlington, Texas; and Five Grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m., August 5, at the First United Methodist Church, at Beltway & W. Park Drive, Houston, Texas.
