  Notes	The Portsmouth Star, Thursday, 20 January 1921 Woman Dies In County Leaving 142 Descendants Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Bass, who died at 1:05 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the home of her son, J.L. Bass, in Yadkin, this county, at the age of 87, is survived by 142 immediate descendants to the fourth generation. They are: Four children, 45 grandchildren, 89 great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. Mrs. Bass had been ill for a week. She was a daughter of William E. and Mrs. Jerutha Bass and the widow of J.M. Bass. Her children are Mrs. Redora Bass, Mrs. Annie White, A.A. and J.L. Bass. The funeral services will be held next Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at the residence n Yadkin. The interment will be in the family burial ground.
