He lived in Lebanon after returning from the service in 1964. He moved to Sweet Home in 1988. William is survived by his partner and companion of 20 years, Teri Spier of Sweet Home; daughter Stephanie Ballard of Albany; son Billy Bass and wife Cristy of Lebanon; and grandchildren Whitney Ballard, and Merydian, Tyesen and Jordan Bass.
