George Bass

With heavy hearts and deep sadness, we announce the passing of a beloved father, grandfather, husband, brother, and friend, George Frank Bass, who left us on September 8, 2023. His journey through life touched the hearts of many and his memory will forever be etched in our souls.
George was born on February 16, 1947, in a world still recovering from the aftermath of World War II. He entered this world with a spirit of strength and a curiosity that would remain with him throughout his life. George's early years were marked by the simple pleasures of childhood and the deep bonds of family, and faith which he cherished until his final days.
George was a complicated man; He remained true to himself throughout his life doing it his way. He was a patriot who enlisted in the navy during a time of war and earned the rank of Yeoman 1st Class. George was strong, fearless, and utterly committed to his convictions. He believed in family above all else and fiercely loved his children and grandchildren.
George's love for the great outdoors was evident in his passion for fishing and his appreciation for the beauty of nature. He found solace and peace by the water's edge, and his fishing adventures became legendary among his family and friends. His stories of those serene or sometimes funny moments, spent under the open sky, will be cherished by those who had the privilege of joining him or hearing them.
As we say our final goodbyes to George Bass, let us remember the light he brought into our lives, the lessons he shared with his family, and the steadfastness he taught us through his actions. In his passing, we find solace in the knowledge that he now rests in eternal peace, fishing in the tranquil waters.
George's legacy lives on through his children, grandchildren, and the countless individuals whose lives he touched. His memory is a testament to the enduring power of love. George was preceded in death by His Parents, Paul and Edna Bass, His son Bryan Bass, his wife Patty, and his brothers Don and William ?Bill? Schneider, his sisters Eleanor and Jerry Sanfratello.
He is survived by his children Jeff, Kirk, Brooke, and Holly. He also leaves behind a host of 15 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, as well as 2 former spouses Barbara Crane and Robyn Davis.
