  Notes	The Times, Kansas, Thursday, 22 March 1906 BASS Jacob Bass was born in Gibson county, Indiana, and died at the home of his on in the Industry neighborhood Friday morning, March 9, at nine o?clock, aged 77 years. The funeral services were held Sunday afternoon in the Industry Evangelical church and the remains laid to rest in Athelstane cemetery. Mr. Bass was married twice, first to Betsey Mitchell and then to Cynthia Jane Strickler. His last wife and five children survive him, all of whom were present when death came.
