She was a resident of Morristown. She was born Dec. 5, 1909, in Shelby County. Her parents were Roy and Della (Craig) Stubbs. She married George L. Bass on Dec. 10, 1927. He preceded her in death Oct. 6, 1976. Survivors include a son, John K. Bass of Greenwood; a sister Wilma Stubbs Rutherford of Shelbyville; and two grandchildren. She was a 1927 graduate of Shelbyville High School. She was a homemaker and was also employed by Bluebird Restaurant as a cook. She was a member of Morristown Christian Church and Morristown Order of Eastern Star 316. Services were conducted Tuesday. Frazier Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
