Patricia Bass

DURHAM: Patricia ?Pat? Weaver Bass, 82, passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2023 at Brookdale Senior Center in Chapel Hill. She was born in Durham to the late Ruby Darnell Weaver and Raymond Lemeul Weaver Sr. She is also preceded in death by her husband of 63 years Donald Wayne Bass and brother R. L. Weaver.
Mrs. Bass retired from GTE after many years as a tolls investigator and manager there. She loved being outside, enjoyed gardening and was quite the collector of yard art.
Mrs. Bass is survived by her sister Peggy Rigsbee and brother Wesley Weaver; sons Donnie R. Bass and wife Sherry, Randy W. Bass; grandchildren, Grant Price and wife McKenzie, Thomas Bass and wife Ashley, Kaitlyn Bass Wilkerson and husband Zack, Cameryn Bass, Kyle Bass; and great-grandchildren, Mia, Caleb, Emerson, Brantley.
A celebration of life service will be held Sunday April 30, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Gorman Baptist Church, Family Life Center, 3315 E Geer St, Durham, NC 27704.
