Dorothy Bass Carver
ROUGEMONT ? Dorothy Bass Carver, 75, of Rougemont died Thursday, July 26, 2018. She was born in Harnett County to the late Louis Bass and Dorothy Winstead Bass. Mrs. Carver was a member of Bethany Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Bobby Carver; three children, Sandra Dickey (John), of Roxboro, Mike Carver, and Susan Roach, both of Rougemont; three brothers, Larry Bass, of Florida, Ralph Bass, of Tennessee, and Dwight Bass, of Rougemont; three sisters, Jane Clarkson, of New Bern, Elizabeth Shields, of Rougemont, and Linda Gibson, of California; six grandchildren, Jessica, Erika, Ronald, Amber, Ashley, and Tony; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, July 29, 2018 at Bethany Baptist Church with the Pastor Mike Whitt officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held an hour prior to the service.
