  Notes	Greensboro Daily News North Carolina Tuesday, July 23, 1963 Mrs. Manley W. Bass Statesville, July 22 - Mrs. Oma Lee Bass, 67, wife of Manley W. Bass, died at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at Davis Hospital after a brief illness. She was born in Iredell County. Survivors: Five daughters, Mrs. W. Hunter Stevenson, Mrs. Brice Pope, Mrs. Jack Whitlock, Mrs. Nellie Grant and Mrs Clay Watt, all of Statesville; a son, M.W. Bass Jr. of Statesville, two brothers, E.B. Waugh and G.R. Waugh, both of Statesville; a sister, Mrs. T.I. Moose of Statesville; and eight grandchildren. Funeral 3 p.m. Tuesday, Bethlehem Methodist Church, the Reverend B.D. Brown and the Reverend J.C. Gilland, burial in the church cemetery.
