Survived by wife, April King Bass; son, Harold Alton "Doodle" Bass IV of the home; daughter, Raven Catlyn Bass of the home; parents, Harold A. "Dickie" Bass Jr. and Carolyn Rogers Bass of Surf City; grandfather, Harold Alton Bass Sr. of Rocky Mount; and sister, Angie Bass Hoyt of Surf City.
