Sarah Richmond
GIBSONVILLE MRS. SARAH Frances Foust Richmond, 81, passed away Friday, August 21, 2015 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Ed Foust and Flonnie Bass Foust Gant and a native of Burlington. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Desiree Richmond and three great grandchildren. Mrs. Richmond is survived by her husband of 65 years, Rudolph Richmond of the home; three daughters, Linda Richmond of Atlanta, GA, Karen Richmond of Greensboro, NC and Jill Dukes of Miami, FL; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.She retired from Lorillard Tobacco Company after many years of service. She was active in Sedalia government, serving as the Community's first Town Clerk. Her memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 12 noon at Bethany Community Church with Dr. Henry L. Simmons officiating and Pastor Annette G. Dickens delivering the eulogy.Alamance Funeral Service has the honor of serving the Richmond Family.
